In today's episode, we chat with Dr. Matthew Leavitt, the Founder, and CEO of Pathnet Labs and is on a mission to digitally disrupt pathology. We kick things off reminiscing in some childhood memories between Spencer and Matt, we talk about the movie rocky, then we get pretty deep into Matt's journey to disrupt pathology, the importance of family and friends, and then we tie everything back together with, you guessed it, the movie rocky. 

Matthew completed his medical training at Dartmouth Medical School and Stanford University Hospitals. He served as department chair in a large urban medical center, where he oversaw lab diagnostics for patients referred from some of the most geographically remote communities in the United States.  In that role, he became passionate about the vision of digital pathology in transforming the quality of care, at a lower cost, for the communities that need it most.
